“A first film of delicate mastery whose aesthetics confer a physical energy upon the most profound dilemmas.” [Regard Neuf Jury]
Quentin is only 27 and has been in a coma for the past 10 years. His mother brought him to the Coma Science Group in Liège (Belgium) to let doctors decide whether or not there is still a chance of improvement.
During one week, Prof Steven Laureys and his team run various tests and Quentin’s mother never leaves his side. The other family members moved on with their lives already a long time ago. But now they need to come together and decide whether or not they can let Quentin go. Will this decision unite the family or break it further apart?
