UNVEILED / 2011 / video installation

Starting point for this 2 screen video installation was the work of the painter Rogier Van der Weyden (1400 – 1464). Together with a group of (veiled) Muslim women I re-interpret the work of the old master. What do paintings of 500 years old tell us about the changing world of today?
