THE LIFE BENEATH OUR FEET / VR / development

‘The Life Beneath Our Feet’ is a multi-player, interactive and multi-sensory Virtual Reality experience that takes the participants deep into the forest. Below the earth’s surface, you – along with three other participants – are part of a complex network of tree roots and fungi that exchanges not only food but also information.

Thanks to VR, the Subpac technology and the vibrating oversleeves and floor, you are completely immersed in this unknown world. ‘The Life Beneath Our Feet’ brings together storytelling, science and technology to make you look at forests differently.
