For Silent Voices #1 a group of French-speaking women from Flanders are singing a French translation of De Vlaamse Leeuw, the official anthem of the Flemish-speaking part of Belgium. The song is transformed into a lullaby and the absence of male voices contrasts with the traditional military sound. Silent Voices / Flanders is a sound installation (11min.) and is presented in a loop.
